One reply on “PRODUCT NO 297-X ULTIMATE ADHESION ACRYLIC PRIMER”
So I’ll start off by saying I’m not a professional roofer.. I’m just a guy re-coating the TPO roof on my RV..
Now, onto the product. This 297x MAX adhesive primer is literally just that. It is almost like a 5gal pail of super glue it is so sticky.
Needless to say be extra careful with this stuff when applying..
Personally the coverage rate of .5-1gal/100sq ft was FAR beyond what I needed to produce a proper adhesion layer on my TPO roof, it being a non-porous material. I started out trying to go a bit on the thicker side but then realized thinner coats were ideal, and for a 220sq ft roof I only used about .5gal in total for 2 coats.. it goes a very long way on non-porous substrates.
Overall a great product and with potentially many uses.
Thanks Tucson Rubberized. Always good service and quality products.
