Re-coating Your Roof

1) Wash roof surface thoroughly with a TSP Solution and remove any debris or peeling coating.

2) If your existing coating is badly deteriorated or you are changing from an aluminum coating to elastomeric coating (or vice versa) you should prime the surface with one of our emulsion products prior to application of a reflective coating. Allow to cure 24 to 72 hours.

3) For maximum life expectancy and reflectivity of the elastomeric coating apply two coats within 24-72 hours of each other at rate of 2 - 3 gallons per 100 square feet in two coats. If using an aluminum roof coating, apply only one coat.

NOTE: Foam roofs should be completely free of moisture prior to application of any products. Do Not use aluminum roof coatings over foam roofs.
